Electric blinds

Post by Stevievee » Sun Jul 25, 2021 5:18 pm

Searched the forum and can't find an answer to my exact problem. The passenger side blinds have stopped working, neither individually, or from the switch by the steering wheel. The fuse for the blinds is bypassed to the leisure battery. All fuses seem okay, both in the box and to the leisure battery? Could this be a switch issue? E.g. If main switch stops they all stop on that one side?

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't have thought so, but Geoff has done a good video on how to clean the roof switch, which is identical.

Bear in mind there's no harm if you operate the blinds manually.

We did it manually, so the campsite didn't get a view of me getting changed... Lucky for them!!!

Its most likely to be dirty switches but could also be a dirty fuse contact, try pulling the relevant fuses and give the contacts a clean, otherwise the front switches are prone to getting very dusty as the air recirculates back thru the front!
