Diagnostic

Post by Quiksilver » Sun Jul 11, 2021 9:52 pm

I managed to connect the diagnostic port to check for any errors. It gives a series of long and short flashes, but I don’t know how to read these - I have seen information that shows error codes are two digits and others say 4 digits.

Also, how do I know when it has finished giving error codes - does this keep going on as a loop?

I haven’t been able to find a mechanic near me who can read the diagnostic port. Any advice works be great.

I have a video of the flashing lights off that would help anybody.

It continues in a loop, the basic 2-digit code info is here http://www.philmcfadden.co.uk/MazdaDiagnosticBox.htm
and if your a club member then a fact sheet covers the 4-digit codes here https://igmaynard.co.uk/download/diagnostics.pdf
