Towbars - Watling Engineers

Post by g8dhe » Fri Jul 02, 2021 8:43 am

Has anyone fitted a towbar from Watling at all ?
https://www.watling-towbars.co.uk/ They appear to do one for the Mazda range even if they refer to it as an MPV the VIN numbers match the Bongo's.
Tow-Trust appear to be out of stock at the present time and lead times with the local installers are way out into August! Not something I was anticipating either!

Humm, not convinced that the Watling design has taken on board the need for a nearside support to the main chassis rather then attaching to the angled plate that is spot welded on the nearside alone :-(
