Removing electronic devices left in my Bongo
Hi all,
As of today I own my first ever Bongo... thrilled and excited!!
...but, it has ba couple of clunky, unwanted electronic devices on the dash/fascia which I don't need.
One is a toll road device, the other is GPS camera checking device I think.
What are my options for removing them, or is it best to leave them alone?
Thanks for any guidance,
Neil

Hi Neil,
Congrats on the new bongo and welcome to the forum
Mine didn't come with those items fitted, could you post a link to a photo of the electronic things on your dash?
I'm curious if they were factory fitted, I think the newer ones came with a parking sensor display but I'm not sure about the GPS camera stuff

They are easy enough to remove Neil and won't cause any problems if you do, I have removed them for people before when fitting stereos

Tragic at my age for being so excited about a purchase haha
Thank you very much for responding... I've attached photos the 3 items which I'm hoping I can remove. The ETC (Toll device) is constantly 'on' with a green LED, I don't think the GPS speed camera radar is on and the 2 DIN stereo I'm hoping I can swap that out for a more modern 2 DIN head unit.
My wiring skills or not great, I guess I'll have to trace them back to a fuse and then remove?
Thanks again.
Neil

Thnk you very much for that reassurance, I think i'll trace where each of the cables go and see if I can work it out.
Grateful for your help...will let you know how I get on
Cheers,
Neil

Congrats on the Bongo!
You might let us know how you get on with the stereo - I'm thinking of replacing what's in mine but don't want to spend much!
