Where can I get fuel injectors for a 1996 diesel?

Post by maryanne » Thu May 27, 2021 2:13 pm

Hi everyone.

Problem: Juddery on start, lots of diesel smoke, drives absolutely fine after a couple of minutes, fuel consumption about 15% higher than expected, loses power at high speeds when trying to accelerate

Mechanic thinks it's the fuel injectors and is having issues finding replacements or someone who can refurb.

Does anyone know how we can solve this problem.

I have sent mechanic all the fact sheets for the injector fuel pump but they said it's the fuel injectors (I'm not clear what that means but hopefully someone on here does).

Any help would be much appreciated.
