Afternoon all
This is my first post having purchased a bongo at the start of March. Already been on a couple of trips to Devon/Cornwall. Saw three bongs on the 1st trip and one on the 2nd (versus at least 500 T4/5/6s). Very happy with my purchase.
I have a black 2l lpg conversion 53 plate and I recently bought some rx8 alloys. I did a bit of research and found a few people on here saying 235/50/18s were ok. I bought a set of four part worn continentals but on fitting it appears the anti roll bar is in the way. Has anyone had the same issue? If so, does a spacer work? Will I then need longer bolts? Any advice would be appreciated
Cheers
Ed

Hi.
I'm no expert on alloys, but you need to check the RX8 wheels are strong enough for the Bongo (the latter is almost a ton heavier) and you need to check the load rating on the tyres.
Minimum 92 on the front and 96 on the back.

Hi Bob
Yes, I have checked the alloys are strong enough and the 235s are rated 101.
Hopefully someone knows if I can use spacers, if not I’ll resell on eBay and get some 225/50/18s
Thanks

I ran 235/50/18 on RX8 wheels with no problems at all, since changed to Wolfrace Eurosport Assassin's with 235/50/18 101 tyres
