Hi all,
I have a 1996 Bongo 2.5 diesel with climate control front and rear and a full side conversion.
I have a query about the rear heating set up, it is all original (although the heater controls are moved into the kitchen unit side) and therefore the lower heating vents (feet heating) is into the lower cupboards on the conversion. I am getting round this at the minute by keeping the rear using the high level vents instead, so the warm air at least gets into the cabin.
The issue now is that I believe there must be a temperature sensor (similar to the one for the front) which informs the system of the rear cabin temperature, and therefore alters the temp of the air coming out accordingly - is this correct? I think that sensor is behind the cupboards as well, and therefore the back just gets hotter and hotter and hotter!
Does anyone know where it is? Is it possible to relocate the sensor?
Cannot find anything on the rear sensor, I know that many people just remove the rear heater, but I do not want to do this as it is one of the features I liked about the van. Help!
