Hi guys,
I've just picked up an 1996 Bongo Camper. Just making some slight modifications and wanted to use the preexisiting mount points.
Any idea what bolt/thread these are? M10 is just too small. Also are these mount points relatively strong? What were they originally used for? This one in the picture is on the rear most left pillar.
Thanks in advance

Bit difficult to tell from the picture but are they the rear seat belt mount bolts? I don't know the configuration of your Bongo so don't know if you have rear belts fitted. Obviously it was originally an 8 seater so not sure if your one still has the back row of seats. if they do prove to be seat belt anchorages then i would assume that they will be strong enough for pretty much whatever you are planning them for. way to find the correct bolt would be to remove a bolt from the mid set of belts and try it in that hole. I could be completely wrong as it's difficult to picture where that is.

I have a full side conversion so can’t check the bolts
I think it’s m12 1.25 (fine thread) but not 100% sure

I concur seatbelt mount point, the top ones are pretty chunky thread from what I remember not sure about the bottom ones, maybe try and find a picture of seatbelts, I remember some of the floor threads being very fine 1.0 though so really I haven’t been much use
