I just bought a replacement alternator for my newshape 2003 Bongo 2.5 diesel as per the Bongo Fury factsheet: 'alternator'. Hitachi part number LR190734.
But it's come with a single pulley rather than my original double pulley.
While I could just swap the pulley over, I worry that the alternator shaft might be mass-balanced, so if I fit a heavier pulley it could kill its bearings.
What do you folks think?

Re: wrong alternator pulley
Personaly I'd change it the alternator.
Sod's Law says if you swap the pulley it won't line up.

Re: wrong alternator pulley
Just sent you a text about this. There's a typo in the factsheet should be LR190731. Send it back and re-order. Factsheet will be amended. Thanks for pointing it out.rocketeeer wrote: ↑Thu Sep 03, 2020 6:25 pm I just bought a replacement alternator for my newshape 2003 Bongo 2.5 diesel as per the Bongo Fury factsheet: 'alternator'.
