OBD Reader ?

HI
Anyone else seen this for early mazdas code reader device. Wonder if it will work on bongos ?

It ought to be a simple job to be honest, he already has the code for working out the duration of the pulses. It will just be having a table of codes for the Bongo as well as for the MX5, if there different, and displaying the relevant text to go with the code number.

OK got the chance to test one of these on the way , As my van has not faults at the moment what would be the best way to simulate a fault to see if the codes are being read etc?

You really need to induce faults for each error code, maybe disconnect/short sensors or look up what codes are caused by what sort of failures?

Unplug an ABS sensor perhaps?

Dont have any faults on mine at the moment but would still be interested in one of these if it works.
I bet he would have a market to sell these to us Bongo users if he could adapt the code

Ok short version is had this item on test but was unable to get it to work. Returned item with no issues.
