Hi All.
Have a slight problem with replacing the fuel pump seals
All went quite well considering but when i started to tidy up found a small cup shaped washer that I can only assume came out of the spring side of the pump as this was the last side i did.
Easy enough to get at and it fits the in the plunger hole so am sure its from there.
My question is which way around dose it go I cant find a diagram that shows it.
Its not from the spring to cap side as I was very careful with this and it all came out together.
Thanks in advance.
Ian

Re: Urgent Help - Fuel Pump Seal replacement
Thank you
Yes that helps though I seem to have something in between the 2 types of pump.
The pump that looks like mine doesn't show this washer but the other one does. Odd
It shows it in the way i thought it went as well so am a little happier now.
I took a chance and fitted it how it seemed most logical to go and everything seems to be running fine (and no leaks)
For future reference the cup faces in side the pump / plunger so the flat side is against the spring.
Hope that may help others
Thanks
