Curing AFT condensation

Post by Roy748 » Fri Jul 05, 2019 8:56 pm

Hi all
For those who are awoken by condensation dripping on their face or sleeping bag after a night sleeping in the loft of your bongo (AFT) I believe I have found a cure, well it's working currently.
I recently purchased 2 meters of grey self adhesive felt from ebay, which just happens to be a great colour match to the factory grey within the roof. Covering all the metal and plastic parts has now stopped the build up of condensation. It takes a while to cut and apply all the strips as I am very particular on the look and finish, but it's well worth taking the time.
Like other have advised I do sleep with the eyebrow open but sadly I still used to get a build up of condensation.
Definitely worth doing and at a total cost of £13.00 plus my time it's a cheap fix.
