Fitting bleed elbow to new head

Post by yorkee » Sat Jun 22, 2019 3:08 pm

Hi, struggling with fitting the Bongo bleed elbow to my replacement cylinder head. Tried freezing it but no luck. Thought about freezing the elbow and warming the head up in the oven (when good lady at work). Any advice before trying this method?
Many thanks.

There's lots of old threads on this so put 'elbow' in the search box and have a browse. But yes, I'd have thought head in oven, elbow in fridge could help whatever the search tells you is the best way to fit this interference fit item. Or it could end you up in casualty

Good luck, keep us posted. [-o<
