Split Charge Relay

Post by cobbdu1 » Tue May 07, 2019 12:33 pm

Dear all,

I know there's lots of information on this but much of it is rather old. I have the cold start version of the Bongo, so intend to use what remains of the second battery already present. I know I need a split charge kit. Where would you advise I get this from (I couldn't find 'Willinton' on eBay)? Also, is there anything else I need to know regarding installation please?

Thanks

I should add, I would like to run internal lights, radio and cigarette lighters (front and back - they have USB adaptors in them).

Karl Chadwick BAES produces a "KIT" of whatever parts you need, he is on here and also advertises on Ebay ( https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/bespokeautoe ... 7675.l2562) however be a bit wary of Ebay as there are some seriously deficient kits also advertised by others some of which are seriously dangerous!

Unlike you and me Bob, we always sit down, better for drinking, you don't fall as far.

I bought the Karl Chadwick split charge kit; reasonably priced and very good quality.
