Torque settings

Post by jockodipunto » Sat Apr 27, 2019 1:27 pm

Hello all,

I have had a quick look through all our fact sheets but have a question - do we have a list of al the common torque settings needed for various bits of the bongo? I don't yet have a user manual but hope to be getting my hands on one soon. At the moment I am looking specifically for the torque settings for seat rails (long version) and for the bolts which bolt the seats to the runners. Does anyone have these until such time my user manual appears?

Many thanks as always

Can't help I'm afraid.
For the bolts that hold the seats to the rails (which we do and undo a lot) I'm lucky enough to have been born with a torque wrench in my elbow.

Brilliant Tony. 8)

This isn't critical like, say, head bolts so 'tightish' with a normal socket bar should do it.

Or 4 white knuckles should be enough.

This might make interesting reading. Just found with a bit of curious Googling, having read your question.
