Hey all
I’m Edd, I’ve just started sharing a Bongo with my mum and brother.
We took it on our first night away with my two kids and wife last night and I’ve started making a little list of issues that need sorting!
I’m not massively mechanically minded but I’m more determined to give it a go!
Basically. They had some work done on it when they first got it, and since then the gear selector won’t click down into low, it just bumps against the plastic housing, it’s like the housing just needs moving back a bit like it’s been put back wrong.
Is this just a case if unscrew and shuffle it back a bit?
Thanks again all and Hi!
Gear selector not going into Low

Re: Gear selector not going into Low
Possibly just the trim piece not sat down properly.
Try removing the ash tray and plastic sheet in the square tub behind it.
Remove the two thumb screws, lift up the trim that surrounds the hand brake and gear shift then refit.
A little 'jiggling' is usually required until it sits properly.
And welcome aboard.

Hiya!
Thank you!
I gave that a go, but it still does it even with that surround off. It seems to be the plastic surround that actually goes around the gear selector itself that stays put when you remove the big one using the thumb screws you mentioned?
Thanks!
Edd
