dashboard light

I have just purchased a 1999 bongo 2.5 litre petrol van The D for drive on the dashboard does not illuminate but the other gear positions light ok.Also only the central speedo gauge lights up not the rest of the dashboard lights when driving lights are put on.Is it a simple fix of bulbs is it more complicated.Thanks from a newbie Adrian

Mines exactly the same

I’ve gone for the leave it alone approach until more bulbs require attention

In my mind I don’t like to fiddle as I often make it worse

The D for drive on the dashboard does not illuminate on my 2000 2ltr either.
I agree with Ognob.I`d just leave well alone.
