Master Brake Cylinder (2.0l)
My village mechanic has replaced the break calipers and now believe it needs a Master Break Cylinder replacement. Does anyone know if we can use a diesel engines Master Brake Cylinder from a Bongo the same age? Or does anyone have one close to Salisbury that I can get?

That’s great. Thanks. Hopefully the one I’ve found through breaking will work then. VMT.

I think you will find that ABS and None ABS are different.
One has 3 outlets and the other 2 but, cant remember which way around now.
But as others have said otherwise they seem the same

The manual gearbox bongo master cylinder is different to the auto box bongo master cylinder as it acts as the master cylinder for the manual clutch too.
Can you not get a service kit if the bore is ok, they are easy to recon, I did mine years ago, but it was a manual gearbox bongo.

I think you might be getting a bit confused here, the manual vehicle Has a Clutch Master Cylinder of its Own. You are probably getting confused by the fact that is uses the Brake Reservoir as a feed, this does not have any effect on the actual Brake Master Cylinder.
