Plastic box next to Leisure Battery

Post by Bodger Bob » Sun Mar 10, 2019 12:41 pm

New on here as daughter just bought a Bongo and I will be the mechanic :D . Looking to fit a larger leisure battery but there is a plastic box on the inside wing to the right of the leisure battery location. Looks like wires rather than hose coming from it and feels flexible. What is it and do I need to keep new battery clear of it?

That's where the headlamp relays live.

There is normally only the 2-4 relays mounted on the n/s wing to the right of the LB, behind the battery is the de-gassing tank;

If it's a 2.5 ltr make sure you read up on the bleed procedure before touching the cooling system. :wink:
