Thankyou both

Mine has 5 leads, so I assume one is a king lead?

Any ideas on where to get that setup from

5-pin cap is ADM51427. Lots of alternatives for this style so check yours against the pics.

E-bay for the best price (it's a race to the bottom) 8)

5-pin HT lead set should still be INT76259. 4-pin people throw the king lead away so measure yours to be sure.

Clue on your JDM is to find the other cars that took the same engine and work from there. Here's a 626 set with dimensions:

https://www.autopartssupply.com.au/mazd ... -2.0ltr-fe

You start there then measure, hit the cross reference sites and work it all out that way. There is much copy-paste involved...

Thankyou, so is the internal 8mm dimension important, I’m geuessing so. Not done this sort of stuff before.

Now I know how people feel when I try to explain it problems to them!

No, it's the length. The core size is standard stuff and varies only in quality. Where there's a separate coil, I've seen the 2.0's with coil in 2 different locations. You are looking for a king lead that will reach. The E2000 set will probably suffice but you may have to source a longer one or just re-use your original and replace the 4 main leads (these will work from IT76259). At £11 it's a no brainer for me and those have been on mine for a year with no issues.
On HT, it's more about the length than anything else. You can get kits to make them up yourself which I've found useful on exotics and classics.
