Evening all,
gradually getting through the list of jobs...central locking now working, broken wire in door pillar (what a brilliant resource this forum is)
I'm doing a resto on a Ford Freda, and would like to repaint the AFT, as it is looking very tired. Removing the knackered stickers has taken paint off, so it needs doing.
Can anyone enlighten me with regards to paint type needed pls? I am a mechanic by trade, also (many years ago) a spray painter (i used to love spraying cellulose!!). I have workshop, compressor, spray guns etc, just not sure what paint is suitable for the AFT. What's it made from?

As well as conventional spraying, there have been some novel solutions tried out. One I seem to recall was rustoleum applied with a roller. Looked very good from the pics plus easy to do and durable. See here:
