Non starter

Post by a.l.2810 » Wed Aug 08, 2018 12:33 am

After a week long holiday in Cornwall we returned an parked the bongo up (2.5td) Two days later went to start it up and no go. Glow plug light comes on and goes off as it should . Engine turns over no problem , no unusual warning lights showing. only thing I noticed was the usual hum/ buzzing noise I usually hear (fuel pump?) coming from somewhere is no longer there. Not worked on diesels before so not sure where to begin. Anyone point me in the right direction.

Allan's closed. We recommend PGS (Plymouth Garage Services) or Mayflower Auto Services in Plymouth.

Ok, Tried to have a look today. bit tricky as its parked road side. lifted the drivers seat again there's just a faint click from somewhere around the fuel pump area. bit tricky due to location at present. Could be worth getting another to try though
