Does anyone know where I can get a new pressure switch, mine has started to leak fluid :-)

Yes, it's at the end close to the prop shaft. Assume it's a pressure switch, and it's leaking a little fluid...

It sounds like the speed sensor, it should be held in by a set screw/bolt , probably needs an O ring, or check it for play.

It's leaking out around the wires so I think the leak must be internal. Are they easy enough to get hold of and replace?

Is it that speed sensor your talking about? There isn't any form of pressure switch on the auto transmission .
Have you cleaned it up and has the oil returned ?
Is it part 21-5H2 lower right corner ? If so that is the speed sensor.

Yes, thanks, appears to be the speed sensor. I presume the petrol and diesel models are the same. Anyone know where I can get a new one, or do I need to visit the local scrappy for a second hand one?

If it is the speed sensor drive .. the part number BV8217400..your local Mazda dealer is your best bet. It is not the same as the 2000/2.5td .

You could also try gear box repair centre.

Thanks for your replies, due to the rip off prices of new parts (and some used!) I think I'll wait until one becomes available second hand :-)

It's only seeping, not dripping out so won't be a problem for the mot :-)
