Window switches

How do you separte the trim from the switch on the electric window control? See picture here, can it be done with the door card in place?

You can remove the switch entirely without removing the door card. Push the switch forwards towards the door hinges, then lift the end up using a flat blade (sprung clip), then slide the door switch out away from the hinges - be aware plastic clip at hinge end will snap if you lift at any steep angle! Once out then the cable can be unplugged and the switch worked on - again be aware quite a lot of electronics and relay on the PCB which is difficult to remove as the switches and plug are soldered in.
