How do you separte the trim from the switch on the electric window control? See picture here, can it be done with the door card in place?

Re: Window switches
You can remove the switch entirely without removing the door card. Push the switch forwards towards the door hinges, then lift the end up using a flat blade (sprung clip), then slide the door switch out away from the hinges - be aware plastic clip at hinge end will snap if you lift at any steep angle! Once out then the cable can be unplugged and the switch worked on - again be aware quite a lot of electronics and relay on the PCB which is difficult to remove as the switches and plug are soldered in.
