epic service 2.0 (nearly done)

Post by knpenny » Mon Apr 09, 2018 6:25 pm

Just an update and a huge thanks to all who helped especially Alacrity, billybong, teenmal, TheLongRoad, bob,g8dhe, northern bongalow and mikeonb4c all the settings and advice you gave really helped, especially since i dont have access to a bongo specialist here in france.

just finished the sump seal on engine today, bloody chuffed to bits and tomorrow will commence all belts water pump thermostat and ac pulley with coolant flush,
coolant alarm installed(thanks bob 25 quid well spent) and when tank is empty will get drillin' to finish it off :D

also the write ups were very useful in members area (must have membership for any bongo lover) =D>
so to cap off
full fluid change diff oil (which came out like glue) dont think thats ever been changed, gearbox oil and filter clean (mind dont over tighten screws) #-o rocker gasket (mind the plastic pipes) engine oil and filter, park plugs air filter fuel filter new fog light(again, damn m6 works and loose stones) new ht lead 4 (cos the rocker cover leak made a mess of that)

and when ma pela pump arrives ill do the steering fluid (which doesn't look too healthy) got rust converter cos the rear arches have slight surface corrosion and will repaint them too.
all in all about 650-700 quid well spent to keep the weebeast on the road (reg: W331EAW) and running perfect (if theres such a thing)
hopefully i can get a pitch at the bongo bash in june and thank you all personally(if your there)

NOW time for a nice big glass o glenfiddich select cask mmmmmmmmm your right BOB alcohol wont solve my problems but it makes you feel damn good after many hours on a bongo
CHEERS TO ALL =D> :D \:D/

i already paid, i just hope its the right amount as the cost sheet didnt specify if the additional 5 quid per person was per night or just a fiver on top of the 2 nights million stars hotel price :P
but totally looking forward to it as i am a bash virgin. I hope you break the newbies in with care

That’s the Glenfiddich that causes memory issues. I prefer Glen Garioch 12 :D
