Bonnet stay clip

Post by ever after. » Wed Mar 14, 2018 11:46 pm

Is this the right bonnet stay clip for the 1998 model? I broke mine today so now the bar won't stay up

looks the same as this one, go on, you know you would rather support the club / shop.
someone has to pay for the invaluable advice given at this daft time of day, just think, you could have ordered the wrong part and wasted money.

If you only need one part the Club will be cheaper, and don't forget the member's discount.

It didn't even cross my mind to check the club shop #-o

I will be joining as a club member once I get all the info I need together. The previous owner was a member on here anyway so it should just be a switchover of name and insurer

I'm pretty sure you just need to sign up in your own name, and I dont think Ian will need your insurance details. :?

I used a vauxhall agila stay clip and just mount the bar in the bottom hole when not in use. then when i need the bonnet up i just take the bar out of the stay clip and switch holes to turn the bar to hold the bonnet in its normal place. I did this before discovering this site. but it works just fine

Any pictures of where I have to put the bonnet stay and the whole fitting. Just bought a new set as there is nothing in place. No clips or anything to give me a tip either!!
