Passenger footwell Draught ?

Post by TobyT » Thu Mar 08, 2018 11:05 pm

Hi,
My wife is constantly complaining of how cold it is on our Bongo on her side.
Could someone post up pics of what is under the glove box down to the mats on their Bongos just so I can see if we have anything missing.

Hi. 8)

Do you have digital or (older type) manual heater controls?

Does the heater blow hot on your side, de- mist vents, and dash vents?

Does the rear heater blow warm?

Is her side blowing cold or just not hot/nothing at all?

Sounds like the Recycle Flap might not be closing properly, if you look under the dash in the Passengers foot well you will see a screen/filter. This is where the air recycling takes place.
As a test you could blank off the screen/filter.

Hi Bob,
Heater's manual controls, rear heater is bypassed, it clears windscreen eventually 😁 de mists etc.
It just seems to be very draughty on that side.

Cheers Teenmal,
I'll get Debbi to have a look, I can't bend that much lol. Just bought a boroscope that fits on my notebook so might be able to look myself if I get bloody app to work.

Cheers

Possible seal issue around the passenger seat when gaining access to the engine?
