Best fitting rear arches

Post by Billybongo123 » Wed Mar 07, 2018 6:57 pm

Hi everyone, we have just purchased our first Bongo, we have called him Billy. He is a lovely little van with a Well house conversion. It does however have the usual uk rust, what are the best arches to weld in? Thanks Marc

Good luck and happy welding... if you are doing sills too see here... viewtopic.php?f=3&t=74229&start=180#p698909
I know a lot have to re make the inners anyway, mine feel shite tbh and im expecting to need a ehole van side by the time ive found good metal. God knows what is lurking under this horrible mess of a previous repair. The grinder will show me this weekend. I'm scared. 😂👌

It's had some shit repair on the rear inner and outer sills so I'll end up doing the sills too.

I've seen that kit, looks good yea. All nicely pre shaped etc. Thanks for that input.

I'll take pics and keep you updated, I'll make a start on Saturday. 👌😊
