She is seeking thoughts and advice and I found myself thinking she could do well to have a dialogue with you (except I'd not seen you on here in a while.....but you are now :-) )

Bongo peeps are notorious for wandering off thread. In fact, I'm not even sure they know what a thread is. Mind you, wandering (and wondering) is what Bongoing's all about eh? ;-)

Hi Pam. Yup me and Bob are still a fine pair of firkin fettlers. I don't seem to get to meetings at all these days - always busy with my lovely partner Trish at weekends and she decided she wasn't up to camping as she has so much stuff to do (still working :-( ) But I keep the Bongo as i always wanted it for its all round versatility and fun and occasionally i kip in it solo. That thread is called:

Anyone interested in a holiday convoy

...and i think she'd really appreciate any tips ;-)

isnt it funny, when you go camping regularly over tens of years with the same people, some have watched your children grow up, you sort of build up a certain rapport and understanding. maybe its the fact that you have all seen each other drunk upside down in a bush on the way back from the pub at one time or another, or doin the semi naked dash to the toilet on a cold march morning,or even falling drunk onto your lite barbecue, it can make you look at people a little differently.
i love you all. 8) 8)
