Dumped coolant South Shields

Post by Emmaus » Sun Jan 21, 2018 8:50 am

Hello everyone,

I am new to the bongo world and enjoying every minute. Yesterday my bongo had a little accident and wet itself. Dumping all coolant in a matter of minutes. After reading forum looks like a corroded pipe issue. As a useless mechanic can anybody recommend assistance in the South Tyneside, Newcastle or Sunderland area. Obviously not able to move and could do with a home visit.

Many thanks for any advice

Hi, and welcome,to BF. 8)

Sorry to hear of your problem, naughty Bongy.

If you have the V6 or diesel the system must be bled properly once the pipe is replaced, the 2 ltr petrol is much simpler.

I don't know your part of the world so well, but hopefully someone will recommend a local Bongo expert.

As Ian says Tony at Derwenthaugh can help or Tim Wing at the Bongo Barn in Stocksfield is very knowledgeable on all things bongo.
Sorry for slow reply but I'm not on much these days. I need to address that.

HI. I have just had a similar problem with coolant. Luckily the AA came to my rescue and recovered it from home to the bongo experienced garage. I wasn't sure they would do this but if you have breakdown cover you may just be able to do the same.
