EHU to normal 3 pin plug

Post by Mimsy » Wed Nov 08, 2017 5:23 pm

I read somewhere that it made sense to connect the EHU before going out for a trip so that the fridge and batteries would all be cool/charged etc. The scenario was someone going wild camping and putting food in the already cool fridge was a good idea. Did I dream it :?:

If it is a sensible thing to do is there a suitable cable that connects the vehicle to a normal UK 3 pin supply. I can only find European adaptors and the conventional EHU leads. I have the normal 25m EHU lead at the moment but have an outdoor electric supply by the Bongo.

If this is unnecessary then that's one less thing to worry about. [-o<

I picked one up from my local camping shop - use it in conjunction with your usual EHU cable.

I bought one of these and use it routinely to power the EHU from a 3 pin socket in the garage.
