fuel return loop

Post by playnotwork » Thu Nov 02, 2017 5:49 pm

Ahhhhhhhhhh!
Done the head for a third time and on the finishing straight i managed to snap the diesel return loop off one of the end injectors. Is there anyway to reattach it.
Quite soft metal, will it solde, braise or can i tap it and seal with JD weld or am i going to have to buy another.
If so anyone know wjere i can get one £85 on ebay

cheers

According to Nothern Bongolow ,you need to be carefully what leak off pipe assy you order .

Quote...
"careful,
there are 2 types, one for long glow plugs, one for short glow plugs. the difference is the low plugs and connecting bar sit lower and will touch the top of a high loop pipe."
