Yes the front wings are of the bolt on type and the sills are cut and weld/bond type.

With regard to the plastic sill trim on my 2002 it has dislodged from the fittings at the rear wheel end, can anyone tell me how to fix it back on?? Looks like the female part on the plastic trim has an opening to allow this to be pushed front to rear along the length rather than just pushing against it to force it back on, any ideas?

No it is the plastic body coloured strip between the wheels shown in bold black on your diagram.

Sounds like your vehicle is fitted with sidesteps/ body mouldings , if you look at the diagram you will see a list of fixings/fasteners.
