Payload Advise

Post by glennbtn » Mon Oct 30, 2017 10:08 am

Hi All

I am currently on the lookout for a facelift 2.0 petrol Bongo with a camper conversion. I was just wondering what sort of payload I might have available for people and equipment after a conversion. I know it all depends on what you have but some sort of ball park figure to be working with would be nice.

Thanks All

You are looking at about 300 to 400 kgs including the weight of the kitchen units.

Welcome aboard. :D

The payload for a 2ltr petrol is about 500kg, before you fit the conversion.

I'd weigh it, tank full plus driver, once fitted out then subtract that from the max weight, 2130kgs:

You need to heed axle weights, too. 8)

Edit: Pretty close to what Ian says. :)
