sounds like a decent supplier, always makes you feel better when they quote working temps etc at you.

For the sake of completeness here is the new hose compared to old pipe and it fitted. For anyone in a similar position locally I got the hose made up by Gwent Hydraulic hoses in Newport. £20 + vat. Bargain if you ask me! :D

Hi - I'm about to replace the same pipe (sourced a second hand one from Bongospares). Does anyone know the torque settings for the two bolts?

Thank you for the reply - that’s quite a range! Safe enough to aim for somewhere in the middle? Say 15 Nm?

Hi, I know this is an old thread - but related to this as I have the same age vehicle and engine, and I've broken the bolt holding the oil return pipe to the turbo body. Does anyone know where to source a replacement from? I have found the part code (14-285A) from lushprojects, but I cannot find that anywhere! Please help as I cannot drive the Bongo due to the oil leak

It's Mazda part number B66014615 and available from Mazda UK for about £9.
