hi dose anyone have ideas why my rear half shaft is moving out of the axle and making the disc rub on the caliper ?

do you mean, the brake disk is rubbing on the brake pad?

Good Luck.

half shaft is moving in and out of axle and pushing the brake disc against the outer arm of the calliper .
just taken the wheel and Caliper and disc off, and I can move the half shaft in and out the axle about a good 1/2"

Sounds like a bearing and or back plate problem , you need to investigate a wee bit further, its not advisable to drive the vehicle in this condition.

Good Luck.
