2.5 diesel fuel filter part numbers from euro car parts

Post by Northern Bongolow » Sun Apr 03, 2016 11:45 pm

if you have run out of bongo fury,s good fuel filters that always fit, you may have to go to euro car parts to try to get one #-o #-o . if you do and type in your reg plate it most certainly will give you one that looks the same but isnt the right one  .
wrong part number ---- euro car part 503690189

so you get the smiley man who doesnt know what hes doing to type in mazda bongo or ford freda and he may get the same wrong number again.

the correct part number is 50372003j which i had to get when cross referencing one of bongo fury,s old boxes which was a blueprint adc42305.
may just help someone out.

Might be worth while checking your BP part number, the one I have is ADK82312 also

Mann 503690189

Crossland 503690188

Do you have a reference link to 50372003j .

Is the compatible parts list maintained? I notice that the Mann number above is different and the Crossland not in it. Rita's ADK number is in it :) but not Northern B's

Should Ian add Eurocarparts fuel filter 50372003j ? (I presume Ian maintains it - he didn't baulk when I asked for a Ford thermostat housing gasket to be added!)

something wierd is going on, but who knows, blueprint adc42305 is on my van now, so maybe that is wrong, but fits, if you cross reference this with the ones above in my link they still fit the bongo.
adc42305 is listed in this link as mitsubishi 1.8 diesel so maybe it fits but has low throughput, it works well but maybe still wrong.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ADL-Blue-Prin ... 1828748485

this is the one he supplied that is on there system as 50372003. its fc-509s and it fits

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Japanparts-FC-5 ... B00DZL3O0E.

anyway, be carefull if you go to europarts without the correct part number. #-o #-o

I would be interested to know where he got part number ... 50372003j

If you want to cross reference part numbers it is advisable to use the vehicle manufacturers genuine part number.

IE WLTD fuel filter PN1213ZA5 = Blueprint ADK82312 ETC ETC.

I seem to remember that the Bongo Shop mistakenly purchased the wrong fuel filters a wee while ago.

Good Luck.

yes i agree rita, but it always happens in a rush doesnt it, you go in for 5 bits and you have the motor in bits, you ask em for a service kit, put in your reg and out it all pops, it should be right, but sometimes -----.

sorry rita i was editing when you posted above. he got the part number from the reg plate

We stock ADC42305. ADK82312 will also fit but it is shorter in length.

The compatible parts database will be updated later this week and will include the Ford thermostat housing and additional info about filters.

So isn't the parts compatibility list a place where somebody has already done the cross referencing in slow time and it could sit in your glovebox for those panics?

I got mine at Mazdabongo.com and it is being fitted along with brake fluid change and 2 yearly coolant flush and fill this Friday.

SOLID ACE - Solid Auto Part No. M303006 fuel filter on the box

NPS Premium Quality M133I09 Fuel filter on the filter itself.

It has a small rubber ring with it in addition to the large rubber seal.

I will find out if it fits ok Friday. The one on there is made by Comline but I cannot see
the part number from under the side.

(P.S. What is the service interval for fuel filter I have done about 6 - 7,000 miles on the new one that was fitted last time, the interval does not seem to be on the fact sheet)

I believe this fuel filter was originally purchased from the club shop a few years back:

Here are a couple of oil filters:

For V6 owners, this is an oil filter from EuroCarParts:

Slightly off topic, but these are the brake pads from ECP:
