Much obliged I indeed have a M303006 from AVA (mazdabongo.com)teenmal wrote:BongoBongo123 wrote:I got mine at Mazdabongo.com and it is being fitted along with brake fluid change and 2 yearly coolant flush and fill this Friday.
SOLID ACE - Solid Auto Part No. M303006 fuel filter on the box
NPS Premium Quality M133I09 Fuel filter on the filter itself.
It has a small rubber ring with it in addition to the large rubber seal.
I will find out if it fits ok Friday. The one on there is made by Comline but I cannot see
the part number from under the side.
(P.S. What is the service interval for fuel filter I have done about 6 - 7,000 miles on the new one that was fitted last time, the interval does not seem to be on the fact sheet)
Might be worth a look......

By sheer good fortune my existing one has not even come close to the suggested service interval of 50,000kms yet so I will try and get it changed. I was going to get it changed Friday glad I can save the garage a load of hassle. (I am sure they still will have charge labour time messing about getting the old one off, considering I was supplying the part)
A bit annoying.

Is that because they make the wrong ones and it becomes economically unviable to make filters people don't want as they do not even fit and cause a load of hassle ?Ian wrote:Solid have been taken over and will no longer be manufacturing fuel filters.
Re: 2.5 diesel fuel filter part numbers from euro car parts
Hello, my first post and a bit confused as the 2 post above say its the wrong part and one says it okay. I’m new to owning a bongo and need to change the fuel filter, I have a Mann 503690189 (wk940/16) filter and was wondering if it the wrong one? Is this okay to use its a little bigger than the old one I’ve taked off. For a 1996 2.5 TD if anyone could help I would be most appreciative.rita wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2016 9:29 amNorthern Bongolow wrote:if you have run out of bongo fury,s good fuel filters that always fit, you may have to go to euro car parts to try to get one . if you do and type in your reg plate it most certainly will give you one that looks the same but isnt the right one .
wrong part number ---- euro car part 503690189
so you get the smiley man who doesnt know what hes doing to type in mazda bongo or ford freda and he may get the same wrong number again.
the correct part number is 50372003j which i had to get when cross referencing one of bongo fury,s old boxes which was a blueprint adc42305.
may just help someone out.
Might be worth while checking your BP part number, the one I have is ADK82312 also
Mann 503690189
Crossland 503690188
Do you have a reference link to 50372003j .

Hi, as a matter of interest could you tell us why the Mann 503690189 (wk940/16) was the wrong one, and where you are purchasing the filters.
Take care.
Take care.

I notice the Crosland Fuel Filter F30316, Euro Car Part Reference 503690188 is on ECP at the moment reduced from £19:81 RRP to £3:30 (83% off)

Is this indeed a bargain as it seems at face value, or is there a catch (are they rubbish)?
Worth stocking up or best avoiding?
I also note the compatibility statement on this link from Feb 13th 2017:
