Post by kingbillybongo » Sat Jun 13, 2015 8:19 am

roof tent coming away in one corner, screws are to tight to move without stripping heads so will have to drill out.
Any one else had this prob and what was the outcome . Thanks in advance.

It's a common one, easiest is to have the roof nearly fully up to take some tension off it, feed a load of GripFill or other gap-filling adhesive from a sealant gun into the holes and along the aluminium rail to get good contact area, then wedge it all home with pieces of wood, preferably overnight.

Did ours several years ago and it's been good since.

Hi all,

I have this problem myself and hoping to fix. If anyone happens to read and knows of someone else on the Isle of Wight, please forward me their name/PM.

Thanks :)
Steve
