Crimp type fuse holders are pretty unreliable in my experience as they don't have proper spring-loaded contacts to connect to the fuse blades. Worth getting proper fuse holders if you can

Its rather underrated for the job, 40Amp minimum and 60Amp if at all possible I would suggest, for a caravan with only a fridge its just about adequate, for a Bongo, using lights, radio, fridge, blinds then it might not last very long.

Yeah, I like the sound of the Cyrix relay but it's quite expensive when you add all the bits together. The Bongo gets such little use. Not sure whether I can be tempted by one of these cheaper kits ;-)

I had a Willinton charge kit..... the relay chattered at odd times so I swapped out the relay, but using the Willinton hardware for a 140 amp Durite split charge relay.... just under £40....well worth the money...

I'm about to make a new kit that handles more than 30Amps. Will be out in a couple of weeks.

30Amps does the trick nicely, but if you flatten your LB too much it'll pop the fuses in a blink.
