Temperature guage not working

Post by idetika » Thu Jun 19, 2014 8:25 am

My temperature guage has stopped working, hasn't moved from cold on a 20 min journey to work. Should I be worried? Thanks

I would certainly be getting it sorted very soon!
Check connection on the sensor, and also on the back of the gauge in the dash. While it's out, do the resistor mod if it's not already done. Costs pence and makes a big difference.

Sensor or gauge packed up maybe? Did this happen suddenly?

Hi
Time to buy a proper water temperature gauge...It's the only way to really tell what temperature the water's at!....In the meantime, take short trips!..
If you get a proper adapter where you need to cut the top hose, don't forget, it's a bleed jobbie afterwards!
Cheers
Helen
In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.

Thanks fo the replies. Taking in to account the fact that I am completely useless at all things bongo, is there anyone at the bash who would have a peek for me? I'm heading there later to collect a bike rack for a bongo rely. I would of course pay in cash/beer/whisky etc.
