battery drain help!

Post by Oldboybob » Fri Jan 17, 2014 3:52 pm

Hi all does anyone know of any problems that could cause battery drain after a glow plug change? The glow plug rail is NOT touching earth I have already checked this. Any advice greatly appreciated

Put a test lamp or meter on the glow plug rail and make sure its on and off at the correct time, I have known the relay to stick on but on some Peugeots if a temp sensor fails it keeps the glow plugs on for ages after the engine starts and burns the glow plugs out.
I woul also check the obvious stuff lights on, little invertyer left plugged in etc

Side door not fully shut will leave the light on.

Excellent. Just to check, was this the £10 NGK relay?
