v6 2.5 petrol rear exhaust same as diesel?

Hi all,
I need a new exhaust back box for my 1998 2,5v6 petrol bongo.
The cheapest I have seen have been around £56,but some other suppliers say that the backbox
is the same for the v6 petrol and the diesel.they certainly look the same.cam anyone confirm this?

From what I've read on the forum & else where the back box is the same. I'm sure there will be other members who will comment on this.

There maybe a different internal make up on the Diesel and Petrol units.

V6 and 2000cc part No J50540100A

Diesel model part No WL7540100.

They are interchangeable. I had a diesel rear section fitted on my previous petrol Bongo. It wasn't a problem.
