Hi All
MY ABS light has been on for some weeks now.
My garage managed to get a diagnostic code out. It consists apparently of a flashing light corresponding to the number 26.
Does anyone know what that means?
Many thanks
Steve

Re: Diagnostic code query - ABS connected
Might have solved the "26" diagnostic code.
It's for a solenoid that opens and closes an exhaust recirculation valve.
I remember that a mechanic told me it had stuck so he disabled it.
This shows that the diagnostic "works" but no closer to finding the ABS fault.

Hi Julian
Sorry for the delay in replying.
My mechanic said it was the ABS light that flashed.
I've been thinking of having a go myself. Have you, or anyone else, got any knowledge about the best tool or set up to interrogate the diagnostic unit? Small crockodile clips or something? Any problems to look out for?
Cheers
