Climate control sensor

Post by Mark Norton » Fri Jan 25, 2013 3:49 pm

Hi, the heater / air con in my bongo only seems to work at one temperature no matter how it is set.

It looks like there is a sensor just to the right of the inside of the glove box. Is there a way to test if it is sensing?

Its not to difficult to get out and open it up, it is known to gather dust etc. and block up. It has a little fan inside to suck the air thru....
See this thread on how to get to it http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 23#p530723

possibly heater control motor, located passenger side, up behind glove box on the side of the heater casing, (usually a grey box with white plastic arm)when down to cold the motor should move the arm all the way down, and up when hot, quite common to see these broken or disconnected
