"Injector seats" sounds like a good reason not to press a button on the dash if you don't know what it does!

Which bit is the seat?

Dunno, what's wrong with the ones you've got?

In answer to your question, yes - When we replaced spenners head we put the old injectors back after cleaning them in diesel. Been working for more than a year now with no problems.

When removing the first one, we 'accidentally' removed the wrong bit first which resulted in the injector components coming apart (as per the pic). Fortunately, we took note of the order of the bits and put them back in the order they came out.

I presume you mean the small aluminum washer/seals that go between the injector and head. Always replace them when and injector has been been removed. Cheap as chips from your local Ford dealer. Change the copper washers also.

Do you mean the 'top hat' or the little ridged washer that goes between the top hat and the injector? either way both are required, so yes they need to be replaced, new heads usually come with them in the bag of bits??

You are probably talking about the Heat Shields,Best to replace with new, they normally come with a new head.Make sure they have not been pre fitted,if not contact the supplier.
