Drivers window switch replacement

Post by 2manymadmonkeys » Wed Jul 18, 2012 2:13 pm

Can you fit a different switch as my drivers window switch has snapped only the button and I'm not paying £50 for a second hand one or has someone got one in bits?

Door switch from 323F of similar year (1997) was an exact fit when i replaced mine last year and less than half price of 'bongo' switch, worth a search on breakeryard type web sites or e-bar.

And something like this will do the job of making the connection..

I used the spare wire that runs from the rocker switch as a trigger for a panic mode. It locks the doors & rolls up the windows too.. But i wont confuse you with how i did that..!
