broken speedo

hi all
last weekend i took the dash appart on my new bongo to fit the speedo conversion. took it appart using tea spoons and put ignition on before re-attatching the needle. the problem i have is speedo doesnt work as you drive of then jumps to about 15mph then jams. even when you stop the speedo is still at 15. have i broke it?

I'd go back over what you've done and re check it all.

Check you havent pushed the needle on too far
