Possibly the Ford Ranger as it shares the same engine? Apparently, it is a Hitachi LR190-731.

i bought a used one for £50 on ebay from a breaker was quoted £120 locally for refurb but as there was a 30 day guarantee went for cheaper option. The same model is often found on the mazda B2500 pick up but i think the ranger is a smaller amp rating than the bongo/B2500. check model number and rating [ think ranger 70a and bongo 90a ] also number of pins on plug. A guy in Derby does them on ebay for £70 [ but you can make offer - don't go less than £60 i tried !] and gives 3 month guarantee. bongo part no; is WL0118300
